Away from home for the first time and immersed in stimulating academic study, university can be a very exciting place. It can also be very lonely. Veterinary schools often form a coherent group within the University community, but with ever-increasing class sizes it is easy to feel left out.

Vet Helpline on 07659 811 118 (local call rates apply, 24hr rapid response answer phone) are very familiar with the  problems faced by veterinary students. Friendly people with experience of the veterinary profession are there to talk to you in complete confidence about whatever is troubling you.

In addition to the support services in the main relationship issues page, the following are targeted specifically at students. Most of the support services listed here cover a wide range of practical and emotional subjects as well as just relationship issues. In addition to these services, click on the name of your University on the left to access information about the support and counselling services they offer.
